MM151 by a.b.art Swiss Made, Swiss mechanics under the influence of Bauhaus

A.b.art Swiss Made is based in Biel, a brand whose creativity breathes design inspiration from Bauhaus, a design minimalism, made of simple lineswhere each element is useful and has a role.  A.b.art is made of this creative mind, with Scandinavian influence, and with the quality and ambition of Swiss made. The MM151 is a mechanical model carrying the famous calibre Unitas 6498-1, first released during the time of pocket watches, with 17 rubies, its 18,000 alternations per hour, and its anti-shock Incabloc system. 

The back of the MM151 shows the movement of the watch while it works. The Unitas system is made up of 44 and 48 hours for an everyday precision of -10 to +15 seconds. The movement was polished and taken care of in its finishing phase with the Côtes de Genève. This watch has a nostalgic and historic feel to it with its winder that moves forward and backward. 

All dressed in black, the MM151 has a steel case with a superb black PVD finishing. The indicators are in Superluminova, creating a beautiful light for those who wish to tell time in obscurity, also presenting an interesting contrast with the deep black of the case. The Sapphire glass covers the body of the watch and is treated for anti-glare, which gives this model a light purple tint, creating a perfect balance.

The case has very large, generous dimensions with a 46.5 mm diameter, which gives it a sporty look and a tough personality. The dominant and imposing part is balanced with a minimalist design and a deep black, which ads discretion to this truly unique model. The case is waterproof to 5 ATM/50M which makes it a perfect watch for everyday use, perfect for those constantly on the go.
