Alessi was founded in 1921 to produce crafted products in metal for eating and drinking, by Giovanni Alessi. By the 1980s, Alberto Alessi became CEO of Alessi and launched the Alessi company into the design decade through collaborations with famous designers and architects such as Ettore Sotsass, Achille Castiglioni, Zaha Hadid or Philippe Starck (with famous Juicy Salif for Alessi for example). Alessi has also started other products ranges with the same spirit, they have created the watches with great design names and with Seiko for high quality production.
