The 860 of Jacob Jensen has a large display and is really related to all Jacob Jensen design universe. A generous display of Ø38mm, 12 numbers dispatched on a display which has 2 levels. The date is located on the top of the watch with a good equilibrium with the Jacob Jensen logo. With a 5 mm thickness, the 860 is light, elegant and has a really good position on the wrist. Clockwises are also thin and the whole design give to the watch an elegant and strong personality. Dimensions : Ø38mm, thickness 5mm. Polished steel. Water resistant 5 ATM. Sapphire resistant glass. Black leather band.
Jacob Jensen was born in 1926 in Copenhagen and was quickly owned by a traveling spirit that made him travel since he was 20. Formed at School of Arts and Craft, he next specialized himself in furniture design with great names such as Poul Kjærholm. Before creating his own studio in 1958, he has worked in US in notorious design studios. Within his own studio, he has worked for Bang & Olufsen, the Design everyone knows. He has designed more than 200 products for B&O and has also created one of the most re-known design language. In 1990, Timothy Jensen, Jacobs' son has developed the Jacob Jensen company overseas and has created Jacob Jensen branded products.
