Tradition, pedigree and high quality in every detail are the prerequisites for daring to alter a classic – and produce a new one. With his Watch III, Flemming Bo Hansen proves this can be done. The name Flemming Bo Hansen is synonymous with a watch with case and strap fully integrated in a single unbroken, so far always black band around the wrist. This classic style is retained in Watch III, which the award-winning Danish designer has created for Rosendahl. But with modifications. In the new watches, the continuation of the sides of the watch does not determine the maximum width of the strap. Instead, the width of the dials is the starting point for applying the strict laws of mathematics and geometry so beloved by Flemming Bo Hansen. This time, the dials determine where the strap should lie. By allowing the black dial with its white digital numbers to flow imperceptibly into a matt black nylon strap, the black ring so typical of Flemming Bo Hansen remains intact. The innovative feature here is the trapezoid, elliptical watch case made of glass-bead blasted steel. A shape that radiates beyond the width of the watch and the strap to give the watch a new suppleness – but with the unmistakeable hallmark of the classic. Another style innovation he has permitted in this successful experiment with his new classic is to provide watches with a steel bracelet in the same material as the watch itself. Thus, he has distanced himself from the original starting point, but has at the same time created an alternative. Dimensions : 32 x 36 mm, thickness 6,5 mm. Glass Blown stainless Steel case. Rosendahl is a Danish brand that develops design product since 1984. Rosendahl is a great alchimy between traditional scandinavian lines and a minimalistic and modern design. The modern lines are brought to us by external designers who come to equilibrate the balance and create very unique Timepieces. The Flemming Bo Jennsen collection for Rosendahl is a great success and a really nice collaboration.

On ne grossit pas facilement du poignet mais c'est vrai que ça peut être un risque. Rosendahl et Flemming Bo Hansen ont choisi ce parti pris pour des raisons esthétiques, le boucle se ferme avec un look vraiment particulier et uniforme. C'est lisse et esthétiquement bien réussi. Sinon, il y a la version bracelet métallique qui existe sur cette version, il est possible de rajouter des maillons une fois qu'on les a enlevé. Et le bracelet de cette version métal est vraiment joli, très belle finition. Mais je comprends votre point de vue ;)
Commentc'est dommage de devoir couper le bracelet pour pouvoir la porter la watch III plastic car si on prend un peu de bras on est mal surtout que ce doit être des bracelet spécifiques à la montre. Pour le prix ils auraient pu faire un autre système. Pis vu que c'est aimanté il faut porter la montre plus comme un bracelet avec du jeu? un bracelet en cuir m'aurait davantage plut :( trop dommage

CommentEt bien je confirme qu'elle est très jolie avec son design très épuré et sobre et qu'elle convient tout à fait à un poignet menu; j'en suis ravi :)

CommentJe la trouve également plus "sobre" et passe partout que la phosphore; par contre, j'ai un doute sur la taille, j'ai lu ailleurs 44x32 et non 36x32; y aurait-il moyen d'avoir confirmation ou un gabarit comme pour la phosphore (n'ayant pas un gros poignet, c'est le genre de détails que je trouve très intéressant :) ) ?

CommentCa dépend des goûts ^^ Elle est plus fine que la Phosphor et du reste extrêmement bien finie. Joli traitement du métal et lecture bien pensée, très contrastée. 2 utilisation différentes, la Watch III est un peu plus habillée que la Phosphor
